SVA’s Houghton Elected to Madison Rotary Foundation Board of Trustees

SVA Certified Public Accountants is proud to announce that Kirsten Houghton, Principal, has been elected to the Madison Rotary Foundation Board of Trustees. Her four-year term will begin on July 1, 2024.

The Madison Rotary Foundation is the charitable arm of the Rotary Club of Madison. It was established in 1932 and currently has assets totaling over $16 million. The Foundation distributes over $890,000 in grants and scholarships each year. The management and control of the Madison Rotary Foundation resides in the Board of Trustees. The trustees consist of 14 members--three elected annually to four-year terms plus the two immediate past Rotary Club of Madison presidents who each serve two-year terms.

Kirsten is a Principal at SVA and focuses her expertise on the nonprofit and real estate industries. She has expertise in audit specific to the nonprofit sector, where she works with a variety of nonprofit organizations including charitable organizations, membership and trade associations, and those organizations receiving federal and state funding. She holds a Certificate of Nonprofit Board Consulting from Board Source® and leads the SVA Board Building training program.
